Trying something new for Ilse's food

I feel like I'm continually tweaking Ilse's eating.  This time I've decided to stop the nighttime feeds altogether and instead do five meals of 90 mls each, 3 hours apart all day long.  That's 7am, 10am, 1pm, 4pm, 7pm, and 10pm.  Then I'll get a nice shreeps, theoretically.  We'll see how it works out!  At 10:30 tonight (since we're off today) Ilse will get her fifth feed today, and even though she barfed quite a bit during therapy (of course she did, she had three dirty diapers in an hour-- obviously I kept interrupting her to change it.) she mostly got 450 mls today.  Then I'll give her probably 80 over the night tonight to get her at least 530 mls, and tomorrow morning we'll be able to start fresh at 7am and she'll get 540 mls total tomorrow.  Again, theoretically.

I'll let you know how it works out!

  1. Praying for you as you figure this out I hated having to count out calories and make sure Isaac got enough food in the day and still have him barf it all up and not gain any weight. Thankfully God gave me enough sense to know it wasn't re-flux like all the Dr said it was. I am continually praying that Ilsa will be healed and can keep her food in her belly where it belongs.
