Sweet Things

Tim said something very sweet to me the other day.

I've always been twitted about my weight (Lumpo was my nickname growing up) and so I've been a bit concerned always that Tim wouldn't like the way I look, especially since one (I'm sure very well meaning) lady asked me "Tim is still attracted to you, looking like that?"

However, I've been concerned for no reason.

I've been losing weight with this pregnancy, so much so that even at 22 weeks (tomorrow!) I can still button pants two sizes smaller than pre-baby.  Odd, I know.

But anyway, back to the story at hand.  After my appetite came back around 16-17 weeks, I've been eating pretty regularly.  One day, after a particularly craving filled day, I moaned to Tim:  "I'm going to be as big as a house!"

And his very sweet, very tender response was, "So long as we have a house bigger than you."

:)  Ah, he loves me, no matter what.

  1. Isn't it wonderful when our hubbies love us just for who we are??!!!...and wonderful women we are, too, haha! It's so nice to feel secure that they'll love us no matter what. I know that whenever I'm pregnant and gain about 50% of my pre-pregnancy weight that Aaron still loves me and is attracted to me, and that makes me love looking the way I do instead of being self-conscience about it. It's a great feeling to just be able to eat and fulfill all those pregnancy cravings without any guilt! Ha!!!

    Blessings,
    Grace
