This afternoon I asked Christopher what his vowels were, and after I gave him the A, he could say the rest. He got a sticker.
I didn't ask Joey, because I didn't want to embarrass him in front of Christopher. I figured Joey really probably didn't know them, and also that he would be very sad if he didn't get a sticker when his little brother did.
However, when it came out that Christopher got the sticker because he said his vowels, Joey tried to say them too. It came out fast, A E U!
I said, "No, that's close! A...."
And he said them all, A, E, I, O, U!
So he got a sticker and he completely shocked and pleased his mommy. I guess tapping, running, and jumping really do cement things in his head. That's good to know before we get to calculus-- which I will not EVER try to teach him. That's either what Uncle Marcus is for or that is what college is for. Not this Emma. Nope. :)
